Dr Momia has gained a wealth of experience since graduating from the University of Papua New Guinea in 1987.
He worked in the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and completed postgraduate studies in Paediatrics and Tropical Medicine.
He has been a GP in Australia for 15+ years.
Away from work, he is a keen rugby league fan and enjoys time with his 3 children.
